My Pet Nimbus

Hi, I'm Raven,and this is my story for this week.

A few weeks ago, I got a new pet. He's a gerbil, and he's the first ever pet that I've had that's a boy. He's white, with swirly grey spots. That's why I named him Nimbus. Nimbus means the swirly grey clouds often called 'storm clouds'. Nimbus has a very different personality compared to mice.

He's so fast! Like there was one time when I walked into my room, he bolted out of his igloo and into his tube! I guess that's just a gerbil thing.

Raven I love what you named him! Using the idea of the color and swirls of clouds is such a unique idea and very clever. I hope I get to meet him sometime! He's so cute!
