In the year 2008, the inhabitants of PlanetCase make this reckoning of our world.

The species of our planet still number five, and reside in Leesburg, Virginia which is about an hour west of Washington D.C. This year our world has been wrought with change, yet our inhabitants have adapted nicely to the changes in our ecosystem. Let it be known that we are healthy and happy.

ABC, Aaron Humorius Sarcastica
A change in faction was noted in this species’ environment. A Web designer and developer for VeriSign as head of their User Experience and Interface team, his group had been part of the larger iDefense and Digital Protection Services division. This division was sold to an Australian Web presence company, Melbourne IT, which broadened his domain to include several international Web sites and Web software. His interests include the other species of PlanetCase, flicks, gaming, church, music, Facebook, music composition & recording, DVD/BluRay authoring, work, and of course… mom jokes.

CRC, Cindy Majorium Nicea Hoticus
A vibrant and social species, she has enjoyed a challenging yet successful and fulfilling year. As the primary educator of the younger species on the planet, she has labored tirelessly to teach the children a variety of subjects, including Math, Science, English, Social Studies, Spanish, Music, Art, and P.E. She has been very involved in book clubs and other social environments. She also coordinated several dinners and seminars for women in her church. Her interests include sleep, reading, movies, TV, church, Facebook, and the other inhabitants of PlanetCase.

MKC, Miri Sketchia Tremendus Cutecus
This species continues to thrive in her current environment. She has progressed well in her drawing and painting, having taken a series of classes. She was under consideration as the illustrator for a children’s book. This species recently acquired her 2nd red tip for her Black Belt in Taekwondo. She will test for her full 2nd Degree Black Belt in 2009. Her interests include reading, drawing/painting, movies, reciting Monty Python, music, photography and Wii.

RJC, Raven Vocalus Majora Adorabus
Always bold and assertive, this species continues to increase in knowledge and prowess. She has worked hard on her art and music abilities, and enjoys drawing pictures and composing songs. This species also sought to increase her physical stamina through dance and by beginning Taekwondo where she has already acquired her Yellow Belt. Her interests include singing, playing piano, art, dance, Wii, movies, and imagining.

DMC, Damon Cochlea Perforatus Eternia
It is this species that has seen the most growth and development in the last year. His independent personality has emerged, as has a hilarious sense of humor. His interests include Lego Star Wars on the Wii, running, yelling, being funny, and leading matchbox car armies arrayed for battle over the basement territory.
